WHO SHOULD HAVE BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK?

It is advisable to check your blood pressure reading at least once in a year when you are not associated with any of the risk factors of high blood pressure.But if you are associated with any of the risk factors,it is important to check your readings regularly to aid in early detection of abnormal readings.High percentage of hypertension cases are unknown and mostly become known only incidental during routine examinations.Checking your blood pressure regularly is the only way to know if you have high blood pressure readings.If your blood pressure reading is 140/90mmHg and above after three consecutive checks,please consult your health care provider.Early detection prevents complications like stroke,blindness,heart attack and kidney damage.Check your readings regularly and stay healthy.
