- Sit down and relax for at least 5minutes after removing all coat to expose your bare upper arm.
- Avoid rolling sleeves up as this can constrict the arm.
- Place the cuff approximately 2.5cm above the elbow by ensuring that the cuff is well fasten to your comfort.
- Press the(0/1) button to switch the monitor on.Remain calm and do not talk.
- Press START,the cuff will inflate and then slowly deflate.
- Make a note of the measurement and the pulse rate.
- The upper two numbers are the BP reading whiles the lower number is the pulse reading.
- If your blood pressure reading is 140/90mmHg or more after three consecutive checks,consult your doctor
