Our marriage
was one of the most enviable type in our family, all because we loved and
respected each other so much that we were seen together always. But I didn’t know
my wife’s first pregnancy could turn
both of us into total strangers. She changed in both physical and psychological
wellbeing and I didn’t know how to handle it. Her kissable lips turned into an
exit for saliva and vomitus and that was something I couldn’t stand at that
time. Her nagging and temper tantrums prevented me from staying at home as I
used to .Although I was eager to see my baby, I didn’t know that was the price
to pay. Throughout her pregnancy, that happiness in our marriage wasn’t felt
anymore and I mostly stay out till late just to avoid an argument.
During her
eighth months of pregnancy, we had our baby through an emergency caesarean
section due to an uncontrolled hypertension. I didn’t know her mum had high blood
pressure and that could expose her to it. Fortunately, her blood pressure
became normal few weeks after birth. We were both educated on high blood
pressure and also on how to deal with each other especially during the phase of
pregnancy by our doctor. I will urge all men to know that pregnancy is a phase
and will eventually fade off after the nineth month. Let’s not add more pressure
and pain to the existing weight they are carrying. You will be a hero to save
the life of your baby and your wife. Pregnancy
Induced Hypertension is nothing to joke with I’m very much concerned about my
wife and my son now and we are leaving happily. Share this story to save a sister
and wife from Pregnancy Induced Hypertension.
