Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and it is 80% preventable.Stroke occurs when blood supply to part of the brain is interrupted by a blockage in the blood supply or when there is haemorrhage due to a burst blood vessel.
If someone has suffered from stroke or is suffering from stroke,they may experience weakness or paralysis in the arm or leg,lost vision,dfficulty in speaking,complains of numbness and tingling down one side of the body.It is very important to seek urgent medical care if any of these occurs to prevent further damage.
